      Digital Excellence Program for Minority Entrepreneurs

       

      OVERVIEW
      Tuck Executive Education, and Google, Inc. have collaborated to provide a digital strategies certificate program.

      Featuring:
      • Access to up-to-date technology for marketing and management
      • Hands-on coaching in how to use digital tools
      • Interaction with industry and academic leaders in honing a business and marketing strategy

      GOALS
      The specific goals of the program include providing insights into:
      • How to build an overall digital strategy necessary for growth
      • Understanding and using web analytics
      • Building and managing digital communities

      RESPONSIBILITY
      Recommendations made by instructors, coaches, and speakers are designed to help you improve the performance of your company’s digital footprint. By implementing any recommendations, you approve and assume responsibility for them. You should always check that the form and content of your advertisements meet the legal and compliance requirements which are applicable to you and your campaign as these are not assessed by Google or Tuck. The program is an optional service that you use at your own risk. Except as otherwise required by law, we do not assume responsibility for determining the suitability of the program for you. We do not assume any liability for any injury or harm, or property damage that may result from your participation of the program, and as a condition of using the program, you specifically waive any claim you might have against Google or Tuck for damages or other remedy arising from any such injury, harm or property damage.

      PARTICIPATION
      Upon submission of this form, your application will be entered into a review process. You will be notified within seven business days of your registration status. By checking the box below, you are committing to attend the 3-day program (if you are admitted to the program). If you have an emergency and are unable to attend, you may send a substitute with prior approval from Tuck School.
       
      INFORMATION COLLECTION, SHARING AND RETENTION
      As part of the application process, Tuck will collect personal information from program participants. The only information that will be shared with your fellow classmates is your contact information.     • Application Deadlines
      Early application is strongly encouraged. The admissions committee will review applications upon receipt and will notify you of your status within two weeks time.
       

      Cost
      Tuck and Google are committed to investing in minority entrepreneurship and ensuring businesses have the digital skills they need to compete in today's market. The program cost of $2,000 is due prior to arrival. A $500 deposit is due upon acceptance into the program, and is due by October 1st. This deposit is non-refundable. The total program fee includes tuition, course materials, and most meals. It does not, however, include travel nor accommodations. That being said, we do offer suggested hotels and will assist with planning your accommodations as necessary.

      If you are a member of the Google Small Business Supplier Diversity Program, you may be eligible for full scholarship and will be notified upon acceptance by Google.

      Cancellation Policy
      Cancellations must be submitted in writing and will be assessed as follows when received at Tuck:

      • At least 30 days before the program, full refund of the $500 deposit.
